The official headquarters for every #OWS related and a few other things...I've been following #OWS since its inception on September 17, 2011. In celebration of the movement's first month I decided to create a blog where you can find all of the day's #OWS related articles in one place. Welcome to OccupywallstHQ and remember we are the 99%.

1 in every 15 Americans now living in poverty
A new census report indicates that about 20.5 millions now make up the poorest of the poor. To be included in this bracket a single person would have to earn $5,570 or less annual. As a finance major I understand business and the goal of maximizing profits but there has to be a point of civility and humanity where the dollar isn't the end all be all. One of the most interesting thing I took away from this article is where the greatest change is taking place....the SUBURBS!
